Dinner & Talk Featuring Debby Shewitz
Director of the Heights Emergency Food Center, speaking on

“Hunger In The Heights”

Calling all Park women and friends for the annual Sisters in the Sukkah program. Enjoy a light supper of soup, salad, and crusty bread before hearing from Debby Shewitz, Director of the Heights Emergency Food Center (HEFC) in Cleveland Heights. Debby will talk about the types of programs in the Heights and surrounding areas that address food insecurity. She will highlight the best ways all of us can support these various programs.

Please bring donations for the Heights Emergency Food Center: Each year, the HEFC provides chicken and “all the fixings” for their clients to make special holiday meals during November and December. Cash donations to the HEFC are always helpful for purchasing these special items. In addition, cans of cranberry sauce, boxes of chicken stuffing, and dessert mixes (brownie or cookie) are also appreciated

Cost: $10/person

Prepaid reservations are required by September 27. Questions to Ellen Petler at epetler@parksyn.org or 216-371-2244 ext. 122.

Sponsored by Park’s Neshama and Women’s Rosh Chodesh Groups and the Sisterhood.
