The Gesher Group invites everyone for a special evening of fellowship, food, and film! The evening begins with the Mincha/Maariv services, followed by a Seudah, the 3rd Shabbat meal, and Havdalah. Then sit back and enjoy the showing of “When Comedy Went to School,” a hilarious and nostalgic film about the Catskill resorts and their shows that were the “schools” where Jewish comedians honed their skills, performing before tough New York audiences. See classic footage of Sid Caesar, Larry King, Jerry Stiller, Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, Jerry Seinfeld, and more! You’re guaranteed to laugh or your money back!
There is no cost for the event, but donations to help cover the cost of the dinner are greatly appreciated. When registering, please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies you have and we will try to accommodate your diet.
RSVP by January 3 through the Park website or Weekly Wrap. Questions to Ellen Petler at epetler@parksyn.org or 216-371-2244 ext. 122.
