Help our environment & declutter your home by bringing them to Park’s

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING DRIVE

Sunday, October 15 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
In Park’s Parking lot off Shaker Blvd., (by swimming pool)

Bring your old outdated and unused (both working & non-working) computers and other electronic equipment to Park on October 15! Items that can be donated include computers, laptops, iPads, iPods, PDAs, cell phones, gaming systems, TV sets*, home stereos, VCRs and DVD players, cameras, fax machines*, wires and cables, LCD* and CRT* monitors, keyboards, mice, printers*, scanners*, copiers*, ink and toner cartridges, microwaves, and computer parts and accessories. Please visit the Park website for a link to the complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable items. Volunteers will be on hand to help unload large items from your car.

*PLEASE NOTE: A small fee will be charged to donors for the following items only: for tube/projection TV’s ($3.00 per inch), printers/scanners/copiers ($3.00 each), LCD TV’s ($10.00 each), fax machines ($3.00 each), and CRT monitors ($30.00 each). Cash or check only.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept items containing freon or wood, small household appliances (except microwaves), VCR/data tapes, CD/floppy disks, alkaline batteries, lightbulbs, smoke detectors, and e-cigarettes.

All electronic data and personal information from computers and phones will be professional erased by a secured three-pass scrub of the hard drives using a method that observes R2 compliant standards.
