Our Jewish community is thriving at Park Synagogue, evidenced by a growing Pre-K and First Grade classes, and rooms filled to capacity on Purim and Pesach. We have reached out to vulnerable people in the Jewish and general communities, letting them know they are not alone. Our Mitzvah Day brings our members together for diverse acts of chesed (kindness). The members who traveled to Israel to volunteer with Rabbi Marcus had a meaningful and sobering experience as eyewitnesses to the October 7th atrocities. Our synagogue provides the place where we can practice Judaism for ourselves and for our community.

This year, our congregation has enjoyed holidays and simchas, felt the warmth of belonging to a community, and, together, found the strength to face difficult challenges. Our synagogue is open seven days a week for prayer, learning, meetings, and celebrations. Even if you do not attend regularly, when you do, you are welcomed. When you suffer a loss, it is comforting to know that your own Rabbis are just a call away.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our members. Many members already give, lessening the substantial gap between dues income and synagogue expenses. New this year is an organized effort and the creation of The Park Synagogue Annual Fund, which will help sustain everything at Park, including clergy and staff salaries, building maintenance and utilities, programming, religious school, security and much more.
